How do you make your own fondue sauce?

That stuff is SO tasty!

This all depends on your taste buds, but, my mom always made it by starting off with a rue (equal parts butter, equal parts flour" and then putting milk in it to make a think sauce, and then if you like cheese fondue add different cheeses to the mix.

3 cans of cheddar cheese soup 1/2 cup of water 1 teaspoon of garlic powder 1 loaf of french bread Combine cheddar cheese soup, water, garlic powder. Heat and mix well. Transfer to a fondue pot. Cut french bread into cubes, serve with sauce.

Melt 1 tbsp butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Whisk in 1 tbsp flour, and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Next, stir 1 cup white wine (or broth) into the flour mixture with a whisk. Slowly add cubes of Gruyere, Cheddar, and Emmentaler cheese (7 oz each); stir until cheese is melted.
