Alfredo usually contains cream, egg and parmesan/romano cheese. Beat the eggs into the cream, pour over the hot, drained, pasta and toss. Add cheese and toss again, coating every strand.

For a quick alfredo sauce, heat together milk or cream with a few tablespoons of flour until thickened. Next, add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and minced garlic to taste. Enjoy!

Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, butter, garlic, and maybe some parsley. The mixture of ingredients is up to you. Combine the ingredients either on a stove or in a microwave, and that is the basic recipe for Alfredo sauce. As I said, you will need to determine how much of each ingredient you include.

2-4 servings will use 1 cup of heavy cream, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1 crushed clove of garlic (or 1 tablespoon of powder), and 2 cups of grated Parmesan cheese. Bring the cream and butter up to a boil and add the rest of the ingredients while whisking until the cheese is melted in. This cooks quickly.
