How do you make built-in bookshelves?

I'd like to try to build them myself.

Measure where you want to put them, then get pre-made shelving or wood and cut it to size. Books are heavy, so make sure the shelves have good support and leave space for the brackets above the books. Support the shelf ends, or they may droop over time.

There are many ways to make your own built-in bookshelves, one of them using recycled materials.Using sturdy wooden crates or boxes, place them carefully the way you want to arrange them on your wall, then nail them on the wall. You can arange them asymeterically,if you wish,to accent the room.

I used to project masonary work about 1-1/2 feet deep from outer walls to make a frame. Fix the wooden sheleves at the interval of requird hights.
