A simple application of herbicide should take care of the wild plants. Herbicides are an effective way to get rid of unwanted plants and many are not dangerous at all. Besides that simple picking is the only other way and it is labor intensive. Herbicides specifically broad leaf specific would be the way to go.

Dig around the outer edges of the plant with your other hand, using a small knife or garden trowel loosen the root system. Pull the entire plant from the soil. Plants such as wild violets, which reproduce through rhizomes, should be placed in a plastic bag and thrown in the trash. Do not compost this plant.

Well one way to get rid of them would be to get some weed killer, another way would be to lay down some plastic.

Use sprays with glyphosate. Products like Ortho Brush-B-gon,clover,oxalis killer can be applied on September to October to get rid of them. Watch the plants closely and pull any new plants invading in the ground. Wild violets will love acidic soil. We can add lime to the soil to decrease wild violets after testing the current pH level.
