How accurate is a grill alert?

Unlike making candies or with other types of desserts, the temperature of a grill does not require high precision- anything within five to ten degrees is close enough. The Grill Alert manual does not specify its precision, but is accurate enough. In my opinion, this is too much of a gadget for me to use often.

Well it's actually pretty accurate but sometimes it can be a little off than usual. So use your caution when you are using it. It's not much of a threat though.
