Some basic softball throwing drills including towels, have the girls hold the towel in their throwing hand, and grip one end of the towel. When they throw, the towel should hit the ground showing that the girls have followed through in their motion, this creates sound fundamentals needed in softball.

The best softball throwing drill i can give you is that of placing or hanging a towel to be used for your pitcher to throw into.

Having a player ball up a towel and throw it saves wear and tear on the shoulder while still teaching them the motion. It also helps pitchers with hand formations.
