There are vets that specialize in small animals like hamsters, so yes, it is possible that a hamster could go to the vet.

Yes. All animals of life can go to a vet. Though, you need to go to a vet that handles the kind of pet that you have. Go to your nearest vet and inquire if he handles your pet. If not, he will refer you to one that does.

All animals should have wellness checks at least once a year, and hamsters may incur vet bills if they become ill or injured, whether it is a result of an accident, genetic condition or poor care.

Unlike bigger animals like dogs, your hamster doesn't have to see a vet on a regular basis (e. g. for vaccines). However, if it gets sick, you will have - and want! - to take it to a vet. Don't worry about the fares - they're very low for small animals.

Yes, you can take your hamster to the vet. However, contact the vet in advance to make sure he or she knows how to and is willing to do an exam on the small hamster. It is often hard to medicate them, though, and people want to avoid the expense.
