Can you plug a 230V appliance into 110V?

Normally not but if your device has a wide range power supply (e.g. some PC power supply) it will work. Attention: It is possible that you have to switch manually (little 110V/230V switch near the power cord)!

No, a 230v cord cap/plug has a different NEMA configuration which will not allow you to plug in to a 110v receptacle. Plugging a 230v appliance into a 110v circuit will single phase the appliance and possibly cause damage. Use only properly wired 230v circuits and receptacles for 230v appliances.

You can, that cannot damage the appliances.but the appliances not work.It requiered 230v for functioning.So there is no output insertlng 110v instead of 230v.
