Will peppermint oil scare mice away?

Yes, if it's 100% pure peppermint oil. Grocery store extracts aren't potent enough. Buy it from a natural food store. Put two drops on a cotton ball, and place where mouse evidence has been seen. Mice will avoid the oil, and eventually you won't see them anymore.

This appears to be an old wives' tale, since I can't find any hard evidence to back up that it actually works. It never hurts to try, though.

No it will do nothing for keeping mice away there are very few things that will get rid of them is either poison or if you get the sonic and use it or you can do a web search and that will pull even more information for you and its all printable.

Yes it can.This is a way of not using some traps,poison or sprays that can harm your pets and your childrens.Buy one bottle of peppermint oil.Place one to two drops of peppermint oil in a cotton buds or cotton balls and place it around your house that most visit by the mice.
