Will gatorade stunt your growth?

I want to give it to my daughter's soccer team, but I heard that it could be bad for them.

Gatorade will not stunt any child's growth, unless they live on Gatorade and nothing else. All diets should contain a mixture of foods, so that everyone gets the variety of nutrients they need for energy, health, and development. After prolonged exercise, some people may become dehydrated, and it is possible that Gatorade might help with this problem.

Gatorade can't possibly stunt your growth. look at pro athletes- they are huge! it ain't good for yer teeth, but it has electrolytes.

I am not a health professional by any means, but I don't think gatorade can growth. Just look at all of the outrageously tall basketball players out there! I bet they've been drinking gatorade for a while. Still concerned? Simply consume water and some fruit for hydration & electrolytes.

i dont think it is particularly nutritious, but the idea that it could stunt growth sounds a lot like an urban legend. there are probably healthy options, but i doubt that it is "unhealthy."

Gatorade has not been proven to stunt people's growth. However, it does have a lot of sugar in it. It won't stunt growth of height, but if they don't moderate their intake, it will promote growth of girth.
