Hitting a dog would generally be covered under you comprehensive coverage. If you do not have comprehensive coverage on your policy, your insurance company will not pay anything. You should go to the body shop manager to see what payment arrangements you can make.

Yes if you have full coverage insurance. You may be responsible for your deductible. If you only have comprehensive coverage your out of luck. Call your insurance company's 800 number and ask or choose the option to make a claim.

Depends on your insurance company and policy. If you just have liability then no. If you have full coverage or comprehensive then it will likely be covered. Look on you insurance card for coverage. It should also have a phone number. Call the number and tell them what happened. Likely you will have to pay a deductible.

Hitting a dog would be covered under comprehensive coverage otherwise you probably won't be covered for hitting a dog with your car.

IT depends on the type of coverage you have. If you have full coverage that protects everything it will, but it will also cause you to pay more.
