Anti anxiety medication could help your cat with aggressive, but those medications tend to affect different cats differently, so you might have to do some experimenting.

Drugs are generally a last resort with feline aggression, while they may help, they do not solve the root of the problem. Finding out the reasons and type of aggression (e.g. redirected aggression, fear aggression, etc) is important. There is also a natural product called Feliway which many people find to be effective.

Cats will urinate in areas when they are mad to show there owner that they are very displease with them and to get their attention. They are trying to tell the owner that something is wrong with them. Valium and Fluoxetine are very good for adjusting your cats mood to be more pleasant.

It could help a way it can would be by giving this the mind would be more relaxed and they will be able to act more calmly than before rather than having it be jumpy it will be more tamed. This can also lessen the cats reflexes or senses by the way it is given.

This is not a medication, but here are ways of dealing with over aggressiveness: Do not reward the behavior. Get a water spray bottle and use it. Have the cat neutered/spayed. Also, I have used a product called 'Faliway' which reduces feline stress and can help with aggressive behavior.
