Why would my cat all of a sudden quit using the litter box?

If there have been no changes in your life or in hers she probably has a urinary tract infection. This needs to be treated by a vet immediately.

Does her litter box need cleaning? Have you changed the litter you use or the box's location? Do you have a new pet or roommate? Cats do not like change and they can react by not using the litter box. If you can rule this out, your cat may have a urinary tract infection; this will need a veterinarian.
