Why won't my smart fill tool work on Corel?

Make sure your object is selected with the selection tool. If the layer is not selected this will not work. Make sure the color is a color that is visible on top of the layers palette.

My way to fill shapes in corel draw is the intelligent fill tool. In composite to the normal fill tool it creates always a closed figure to fill.

You may have something selected or something that can not be used by this particular tool. You may need to click off of this tool or go on to something else.
