Why is my Windows ME running slow?

Most often if an Operating System is running slowly you have viruses, malware, or something else running on it that you shouldn't. Run ad-aware by lavasoft and see what that comes up with, then remove all unneeded programs and run a defrag

You might have some programs running in background that slow down your computer or you could upgrade you computer's hardware if it is below Windows ME requirements.
