Why is my Hyundai Accent making popping noises when I turn the wheel?

This is because the CV joint is going bad. The rubber boot that covers the joint gets ripped, becaue of common everyday use. Dirt and debris then enters the joint.

Most likely the tie rods or cv joints are bad. Probably the cv joints. I would suggest getting it looked at. Definetley take it to a mechanic if they break completely you may lose stearing.

it sounds like your CV joints are bad, the noise sounds like a clicking or popping noise when you make turns, try and listen and you will hear weather its the right or left axle thats bad. They axles need to be replaced when they start making this noise, it signals the bearings are bad and wearing away

Please take this seriously, it could be a problem with your drive shaft or it could be a piece of plastic caught somewhere but have it looked professionally!

when you turn the whhel if you hear a clicking sound it could be bad CV joint in the front driveline
