Clomid is prescribed for men with the hopes of increasing sperm count. Clomid is an anti-estrogen drug , so testosterone levels increase. These levels are monitored closely in men taking Clomid because it's a fairly new therapy. In addition to using it for fertility issues, some bodybuilders use it to enhance their efforts.

Clomid is prescribed to men to treat certain infertility problems. It is typically prescribed for women, however, because the success rate of these type of drugs in men with hormone imbalances is actually less than five percent. A variety of other drugs are available for men, depending on what symptoms your condition is presenting.

Men may have problems with fertility due to varicoceles. Varicoceles are veins in the testicles that are dilated in an abnormal way. This condition impairs sperm. Clomid is usually prescribed to infertile women but can be prescribed to men. Clomid is supposed to help increase sperm production which would lead to the likelihood of male fertility.

In fact Clomid is used to treat infertile women and it is commonly used. Clomid is prescribed to men also sometimes, for infertility. In fact, in this case this medicine is being widely misused. The use of this medicine is empirical. And the results are not predictable. It helps to stimulate the testes to stimulate testesterone and sperm.

Clomid can restore the male's natural production of testosterone. It is also often used off-label for anabolic steroid users to counter the estrogenizing effects of long-term steroid use.
