As a recent mover, I would say I moved for environment, lower crime, more space, better lifestyle, nicer people, more opportunities, better school environment, new experiences, new food, better climate but mostly for love. Everyone's reasons will be different but I think most of the common ones are covered there.

Some people leave a nation because they are persecuted due to race, religion or politics. Some people leave a nation because it is collapsing and cannot sustain them, like those who flee Zimbabwe's famine. Some leave seeking higher paying work, such as Mexican migrants to the United States and Turks to Germany.

This is a complicated process. Many factors go into people's decisions to emigrate out of a country and immigrate into a different country. Factors can include unrest, civil war, or poverty in their original country, a better political and economic situation in their destination country, family reunification or a changing job market that means their labor is better compensated elsewhere.

People emigrate for many reasons. The most common I would imagine is that they think the lifestyle, weather etc is better. Some people might emigrate for employment reasons...... been offered a job abroad for example. Remember research destination thoroughly and the grass isn't always greener!!
