Usually when a washer stops and starts up again it means it is changing cycles. Such as from fill to wash, or from wash to rinse, or rinse to spin. If its not because the cycle is changing then you might want to check the power cord and see if it is not damaged.

It could be interruptions in the power supply to your washer,or a fluctuation in the water pressure could cause this.It is also possible you have too large a load for the washer.Put all your laundry in the same basket before you load to gauge how large it is.

Could be various causes: first, the program selected need a stop time to let the water, soap and chemicals do their work. Second: the water needs to get hotter and the heater on the washer needs time. Lastly, the water pressure is not enough and the machine needs to wait to fill itself

A washer can stop and go for many different reasons. It could be the washer motor or even the control board. My bet would be a faulty control panel, in which case you would have to contact a certified repair person or your washer's manufacturer if you are capable of fixing the washer yourself.

This may be due to the imbalanced position of the washer drum. If it changes its position accidentally, then your washer is in trouble.

Your washer may stop and go due to the setting that you have it on for washing, you should check your manual so you set the timer for optimum washing.

your washer is probably cycling through different stages, like soaking and spinning to dry the clothng. all washers do this so it isn't anything to be concered about.

the clothes are not distributed properly or the little legs under the machine are not the same length you might have to adjust them.
