Your power saving program may be set up to turn your computer off, after a certain length of time. Also, if you are installing a program, a re-boot may be necessary, and in some cases the new program will turn off the computer. You many also have a virus or a hardware failure which is causing the problem.

There are many reasons this could be happening. It could be overheating so it shuts itself off to save itself, there could be a power supply problem, or you could have a really really bad computer virus that is telling your computer to do that. I would suggest hiring a professional to find the problem.

There are many reasons why this could be happening. The primary reason I have seen this in the field is due to overheating of the hardware components. The inside of a computer case can get very hot and without proper ventilation it will shut off at a set temperature.

It is either a program that you are running or the cable a the back that has fallen out. First check the power cable if it is loose push it back in. Otherwise it is a program on your computer most likely a virus.

You probably have the feature enabled which automatically shuts your computer down if no one is using it after so many minutes. Simply disable the feature under desktop properties.

If your computer is turning off by itself then your processor is probably overheating, why it shuts off is because your systems bios is set to shut the machine down if the processors temperature reachs a certain threshold. What you need to do is check and make sure your cpu fan is running.
