Your orthodontist either has enough room or may be creating room another way. Trust them - it took eight years of study to do thier job.

Expanders are for when there is not enough room in your mouth for your teeth. You may need braces for crooked teeth, but don't need more room in your mouth.

Pehaps it is because expanding is not needed! If a person has a lager jaw and smaller teeth there will more than likelybe spacing. The braces would be usedd to colse the spaces and correct any malocclusions present

Braces provide pressure to your teeth to direct their movement. If you already have enough space in your mouth then you do not need and expander.

Well you have to wear them without an expander because your teeth need to be narrow or need to come in.

Most orthodontic plans have different "phases". Repositioning the teeth first may be required before using an expander. Your orthodontist should be able t explain the different phases of your treatment.

if you have enough room for the teeth to move in your mouth you should not have to wear a palatal expander.

Your orthodontist has judged that although your upper jaw is wide enough (meaning that your pallet is wide enough). The braces are either there to correct a problem in your bite, or to prevent them from becoming jumbled after the stress of other orthodontic work. Basically, you have to wear braces still so you wont look homeless later.
