You can paste pictures in Microsoft Word. You can just copy the desired picture and paste it in a word document. Microsoft word accepts variety of image formats such as. bmp and. jpg. Otherwise you can just drag and drop the images from your explorer window in to the word application.

First thing I would check is the right file type of the image to import. If you go over the insert menu you should see the supported types.

In order to past a picture into any Microsoft works program you must copy the image to the windows clipboard. This is different from just clicking copy. Then click edit on the top toolbar of your Microsoft Works program and then select paste.

Please do not think that microsoft works does not allow pasting pictures copied from other places. This could be either beacuse of the version used or you might have opened too many windows at the same time. Try importing such pictures than copy ad pasting. If still it does not work, restart and try.

Since the picture may be of different format because of that the microsoft works may not allow us not to paste that in the file.

If you are not able to post certain pictures into Microsoft Works then there is something wrong with the picture you are copying.
