Why are the stems of my orchids shriveled?

The flowers have dropped and the stems have shriveled. What could I have done wrong in caring for my plants?

Some of the most likely reasons are underwatering or exposure to cold temperatures. Orchids need to be thoroughly watered two times a week. They also love a warm (about 75 degrees)environment with little variation in temperature. If exposed to cold, shock is usually the result.

This is normal. Cut the stem off close to the base. Continue to feed and water regularly. The plant will send up a new stem in a few months.

Just plant it in the soil, give vertilizer and water... you don't need anything beside them... And you are wrong to do that... aactually orchid has a unique characteristic... you must plant it in the arang but you must give them LOVE
