Who would I contact to find out about NY state parks?

We are thinking about planning a trip for next summer.

You could certainly contact the Park Service for New York State but I prefer "going to the top" and would contact the National Park Service. I do know there are some 178 state parks in New York, so you have a lot of options!

All state parks have website that offer a wealth of information. You could also contact the New York State Tourism board, as well as the tourism boards for counties you will be visiting. Your hotel should also be able to offer information, if you know where you will be staying.
