Abraham is considered the father of the Jewish race. This is seen in the develop of the old testament. But what is considered Judaism today is really the develop of the jewish leaders and rabbi's following the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD.

Abraham is the founder of Judaism. Abraham was very obedient to God and one day even agreed to sacrifice his own son by killing him when God asked him to do so. Some Christians believe God's request from Abraham to sacrifice his son is similar to God sacrificing his own Son, Jesus, to save mankind.

Well, it depends on your point of view. i personaly see abrham as the founder of the jewish, christian and muslim faiths. Some people will claim that Isaac was the founder because it was his flesh originally desired by God. Moses lead the hebrews out of egypt so he could be up for nomination to.

According to the Book of Genesis, Abraham was the "founder" of Judaism, in that God made a covenant with him because he was faithful to God.

The same Abraham that Christians study in the Old Testament was the founder of Judaism. Judaism got its start the moment that Abraham entered into a covenant with God. With that covenant, God promised a then childless Abram that his descendants would be myriad; Abram promised to worship only Yahweh. To seal the deal, God renamed Abram, Abraham.
