Hazrat Adam was the first man on Earth and also Islams first prophet. He was made from Potter's clay by the mighty god Allah. He was originally placed in the heaven garden before disobeying Allah and was sent to Earth along with his wife Hawwah/Eve.

In the Quran, it says that Hazrat Adam was the first man created by Allah. He created Hazrat Adam for the sole purpose of worshiping Allah, which is the purpose of light as stated in the Quran.

According to the Koran, Hazrat Adam was the first man, the first prophet of Allah, and the first ruler on earth; he was made from dust. Allah taught Hazrat Adam the names of all the things on earth, knowledge which raised him above the angels. Like the Biblical Adam, Hazrat Adam lived in a garden paradise that held forbidden fruit.
