The Canidates were, Democrat Woodrow Wilson and Thomas Marshall (435 electorial Votes), Progressive (Bull Moose) Teddy Roosevelt and Hiram Johnson (88 electorial votes), and Republican William Howard Taft and Nicholas Butler (8 electorial votes). This was a very contentous election as the Progressive Party had split from the Republican Party and Woodrow Wilson faced a difficult nomination from William Bryan.
