Spyro is a small purple dragon and the hero of many games in his own series. He was first released on the Playstation in 1998.

Spyro is a character from the Spyro the Dragon series. He first started off with a trilogy of game for the PlayStation, but because of the popularity of games, I believe there is a Spyro game for almost every recent system except the current generation. (wii, 360, ps3)
