After looking on the internet to find out who the inventor of the toaster was, I came to the conclusions that there were several people involved in this process. Charles P Strite invented the pop-up bread toaster in 1921. The invention of the toaster was a long and slow process.

The popup toaster we use today was invented by Charles Strite in 1919. Before that, two companies from the UK and the US held patterns for a "manual" toaster, which required the user to turn the slice on the other side when it was done.
