During it's run, The Shield featured a number of actors with regular roles. Michael Chiklis (formerly of The Commish) stars as the main character Vic Mackey. Later season featured Glenn Close as a regular. Other notable co-stars were Walter Goggins, Michael Jace, David Marciano, Jay Karnes, Cathy Ryan, and Benito Martinez.
