This can, of course, only be subjective! My own personal list would include, in no particular order: Bill Hicks, Eddie Izzard, Jack Benny,Woody Allen, Billy Connolley, Harry Hill, Bill Bailey,Frankie Boyle,Kathy Griffin and Tim Minchin.

In my mind Bill Hicks, may he rest in peace, will always be the best. He talked about very controversial issues. I also like Lewis Black, he is just too funny he cannot take anything seriously. Black uses a lot of bad words, but if you can get past that, I think you'll love him.
