Now that's a vague query! Have you tried following the wiring from the main power supply to the air conditioning unit. You could follow it backwards and see where in the attic this wire leads to and locate the reset switch.

Try finding the compressor unit and the tracing the wires from there - it should be easier to locate the reset switch as it may be close to the compressor.  add a comment

I don't think your attic will have a lot of switches! So just use trial and error to locate the reset switch. Of course, you'll need to have someone scream out when the Air Conditioner stops so you know this is the switch.

Did you builder give you some diagrams of the house plan and did this have a scheme of the wiring done? This should indicate where exactly the reset switch of your air conditioning unit is. You may need a little electrical knowledge to decipher these diagrams and the symbols

You would need to provide us with the model and type of air conditioner. Go to your attic and get this information. Then use the Internet to look up the manual for your unit.
