Where is the knock sensor on a 2001 Yukon?

You have to look on your dashboard around your steering wheel. There is a chance that the car dealer where you have bought the car has removed the knock sensor.

Knock sensors are very hard to get into because it is located inside the engine. For the 2001 Yukon it is in the left hand side of the engine.

Knock sensor is located on side of engine block screwed into a block coolant drain, your best access is from underneath the vehicle.

It's located near the fan casing just above the engine, it's clearly labeled, be sure the engine is killed before looking for it.
