If you are a crafts person I would suggest a craft shop where you can pick your own items required to put together your decorations. If you prefer already made decorationd for the holidays then you will probably be better off going to a place like Wal-Mart or Big K.

I like to buy holday decorations at our local Ben Franklin Store. Instead of having "big box" quantities of really mediocre items, they tend to select unique and different items and provide a wide selection of only a few of each. That way, I don't end up seeing the same things on every house on my street.

I like to buy decorations from Hallmark stores for high end pieces which can become mementos from year to year for the family. For the fun inexpensive pieces I go to the Dollar Tree stores that way I can overdecorate without being over budget. You can always go to the old stand by Wal-mart as well.
