Where is the A/C fill valve located on an Audi A8?

Without know what ear your car is it is hard to say exactly where the port is located. In many case it is mount high back on the firewall. Usually over on the passenger side. However some systems do not have the low pressure port like other cars so check to see if an adapter is needed.

The evaporator is the A/C heat exchanger in the passenger compartment that the HVAC blower motor blows air over to cool and dehumidify the cabin (it's a direct expansion [DX] coil).

Trace the hoses back and look at the compressor. You are best to put the car on either a hoist or on ramps, once you add the gas run your aircon and check for leaks, your cas should have a dye included to make this easy. Failing that go to a mechanic.
