If you are looking for inexpensive lessons, you can check the YMCA and the Park districs. They have many different classes and you can find them on the internet. You can a combination of classes and exercise at the same time. They have evening and day classes, so if you work you can still go in the evening.

One of the best places to take classes would be at the Instituto Cervantes, a worldwide organization for Spanish culture run by the Spanish government, which has a branch in downtown Chicago. There are also local Chicago-based companies such as Spanish Horizons Inc., Spanish Language Center and Spanish Circle.

When you want to learn an new language you can sometimes find courses at the local high schools or even your local library. They sometimes offer classes for free or for a small fee.
