Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Kingdom of Württemberg, German Empire. His father was Hermann Einstein and his mother was Pauline Einstein (née Koch). His father was businessman and in 1880 the family moved to Munich, Germany to start his business.
