To use 6.5 percent zinc as a foliage spray, you should add an equal amount of zinc to water while agitating it. That means you will need to mix 1 gallon of 6.5% zinc to 1 gallon of water while agitating it, preferably in a tank.

Use two to four teaspoons of zic per gallon of water, usually one pound per tree is recommended for height of 10 to 12 feet.
