Depending on the model, this question has many answers. However, a good general milestone for old Toyota vehicles is 100k. If by 150k it hasn't been replaced, do it immediately.

Older models need to be changed every 60,000 miles. Newer models need to be replace after 90,000 miles. This is the normal maintace on Toyotas. Also you will need to replace it if it starts to jump time and if it has been damaged. Check it often to make sure that it is still in good running order.

The timing belt in a Toyota should be replaced every 90,000 to 120,000 miles. If you have an old Toyota, keep up on the maintenance and you should be able to keep the changing if this major part between these milage points.

There is no set mileage to replace it at. If it has 100,000 miles or more you should keep an eye on it. Inspect it for wear or cracks. You can always just go ahead and replace it if it has be driven hard all it life. This way you can prevent a very expensive repair down the road.
