During the summer (July or August) is the best time to move. Seattle is known for its gloomy weather, and it rains a lot as well. During the summer it can get a little hot, but its still easier to deal with then rain. When it rains, it really pours in Seattle.

When you move anywhere it's usually a good idea to plan ahead. Some things to plan on are new job packing material and new address. the new job is a plus , and the new residence is a must for a successful move. so in close you should move after 1 shelter 2 job and 3 help packing.

In the Spring. That way you'll have the spring and beautiful summer to fall in love with Seattle before the long, dreary, grey and wet days of rain start in the Fall and last throughout the Winter, leaving you limp, sad and depressed, even with lots of caffeine (it helps), wondering why you ever made the move.

It all comes down to what is going on in your life. There isn't really a "right" time to move to Seattle. There's never a time when the sun is always out and moving will be easy or anything. So decide based on your life at its current time, there isn't many other factors.
