When is it safe to give a dog her shots that were postponed?

My dog didn't get her shots because she was pregnant.

Talk to your veterinarian about this.

Most vets will tell you that once the puppies have been weaned it is usually safe to give a dog her shots. You don't want to do it while she is feeding the puppies due to problems it can cause in the newborn puppies. Anything that is introduced into the mother will get transfered to the puppies.

It should be safe to go ahead and get your dog her shots. Take the previous shot records to your current vet and they will let you know what shots are needed and then you you will be back on schedule again.

It is okay to give shots to dogs when pregnant. You can usually have numerous shots given to your dog at the same time with no problems. Consult your vet and schedule your shots as soon as possible.

I would assume it would be safe to give your dog the shots after she gave birth, once she was no longer nursing her puppies. I think that certain diseases and medications can be transferred to babies or puppies through nursing, so I would wait to make sure this wouldn't happen and that your dog was fully recovered.
