When is it okay to separate baby rabbits from their mom?

Do not separate them from the mother until you see the babies eating and drinking with your own eyes. That way you know she has weaned them. Otherwise you will lose all your babies.

Mom rabbits should be on full feed while nursing--babies will wean themselves for the most part. When you begin noticing the babies eating mom's food and drinking her water, then it's okay to first introduce extra feed and water (try a creep feeder), and about a week after that, separate the brood.

Baby rabits should not be separated from their moms before they are 8 weeks old. Till then they need mother's milk which is rich in antibodies.

Most people think selling the babies will bring in extra cash but have no idea how to go about it. You can't sell them if no one knows you have them. You will sell one or two to the neighbor kids and will need to advertise
