When is a swamp cooler preferred over conventional a/c?

Swamp coolers require a climate that has low humidity during the cooling season. Installing a swamp cooler will not be any easier than tying into the hvac system.

the swamp cooler is more efficient than that of conventional ac. It consumes less energy than that of ac. Overall its better than conventional ac.

Because in my humble opinion, the swamp cooler is more efficient than that of conventional ac. It consumes less energy than that of ac. Overall its better than conventional ac. My friend is using a swamp cooler from many years and is happy with it.

No the a/c is preferred over most systems. It will save the most money in the long run. And it will last longer.
