The ipod nano came out in the month of September 2005. Its manufacturer is APPLE. From then it is recognized in the category of Portable Media Player. It started with first generation of nano and presently going with the fifth generation player. The first two clours were black and white after which it has been launched in many colours

The first release of Apple's ipod Nano was on September 7th in 2005. A second generation of the Nano was released on September 12th in 2006. The third generation came in 2007 on September 5th. The fourth generation was released on September 9, 2008. Apple has recently unveiled the fifth generation back on September 9th of 2009.

The original came out on September 7, 2005. The latest fifth generation model came out on September 9, 2009. New ones are released at Apple's annual events mostly.

I am about 99% sure the first generation ipod Nano was released in 2005, although the beta testing went on for about two years prior.

The very first generation of the Ipod Nano was released back at the end of 2005. It was designed to replace the previous Ipod mini. To date there have been 5 different generations.

It seems that Apple released the first version of the Ipod Nano back in 2005. It was designed to a smaller version of the normal Ipod.
