Foundation is used to create a base for your skin on your face. It doesn't work to cover anything up it just gives it a smooth surface. Concealer works to conceal any imperfections or blemishes.

concealer is usually liquidated and is ussed in squirts to hide blemishes while foundation is used to even out your skin tone and create a glow to yr face.

Foundation is a skin toned base used to cover your entire face before applying color. Concealer is also skin toned used to hide flaws such as dark circles under eyes.

You dab concealer to cover things like dark circles under the eyes, pimples, anything you wish to basically hide. Foundation you wear over the concealer. You put it all over your face to give your face an even coverage and apply with sponge or fingertips to smooth it over your face.
