What's the difference between a California King and a King bed?

Two people the sleeping space of two twin beds pushed together. California Kings are two extra-long twin beds, giving an extra four inches of length for tall people -- 36 inches wide per person and 84 inches long. Kings are 38 inches wide per person and 80 inches long.

A California King is larger than a standard King bed. A California King is the longest bed on the market. It is 84 inches long; while a standard King is 80 inches long. A California King is better for tall people. However, a California King is 72" wide; while a standard King is 76" wide.
