What would cause a bubble to form on your eye?

Will it make me go blind?

It can be possible that you have contracted some kind of bacterial or viral infection on the mucuous membrane of the eye. These are often harmless and will disappear soon. If the bubble you described causes constant irritation or there are signs of inflammation, you should contact your local physician.

If it is on the white of the eye (the sclera) is could be caused by an irritation or intense rubbing due to an itch. It will go down on its own in time. It may look a bit like a water bubble.
