They will make it seem like the accident is your fault and your rate will go up if you don't accept their offer. Also they will tell you if you get an attorney they will tie up your settlement in court for years to come.

They may not contact you with the legal time frame or may not put anything in writing or tell you your policy limits. They want you to sign a written medical release form. They delay with vacations, claim transfers, not returning calls. Tells you no lawyer is needed.
