What states is it legal to carry a pistol?

There are many states that have adopted what is refereed to as the Gun Slinger Law, including but not limited to. Illinois, Mississippi, Alabama and Texas. You still have to apply for a permit and pass all necessary background testing. Even then many of the establishments do not allow you to carry the gun on you.

if u like to carry a pistol you should get a licence from a state where you want to carry. Only a licenced pistol is legal. you must get proper licence from the government otherwise your pistol is ceased.

If you have a concealed carry permit there are 32 states that offer some form of reciprocity for the permit. Some states like Alaska do not require a permit. California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Iowa, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island and Maryland do not recognize out of state. Illinois and Wisconsin do not offer concealed carry.
