What should you give for a "suggested donation"?

Some places have a suggested minimum donation. If they do not have one just donate what you can afford. Don't be too stingy but don't give more than you can.

Dependent upon the specific charity, you may already be familiar with the usual donation amounts. Carefully weigh the fundraising opportunity to then caculate your donation. Consider the event and what benefits you are gaining. When in doubt, contact a trusted member of the organization for guidelines. Remember, generous giving on your part will greatly benefit the organization's mission.

It depends on the cause that you're donating to. If it's a minor cause, $20. 00 would be good. If it's a major cause, at least $40. 00 would be good.
